The Anger Management Institute

Target population: Young to Adult Males Only

Number in group 7 to 10

Gender: Mixed

Number of group sessions: 12

Time for each group sessions: 60 minutes

Location: Douglasville Office

Leadership: Co-leaders

Time: 12 Saturdays 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

Fee: $25.00 per person (plus $10.00 registration fee for class workbook.)


Service Young Men to Mature Men Ages 16 to 50

  • Guide clients through a 12 week peer led Anger Management Program designed to educate, empower, and improve their sense of self.

  • Through individual and group counseling sessions clients explore and learn to embrace past trauma as they shape a new present and future.

  • Rehabilitate and psychologically train men to navigate this world of physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural relationships.

  • Clients will gain a better understanding of psychotropic drugs and self-medication strategies used through illegal substances.

Our Goal

This group is designed to address various social and emotional challenges people face as well as teaching how to deal with a various past and present trauma's and life situations. The goal of this group is to create and allow participants to explore and learn coping strategies and techniques to manage mood swings each week.


These groups run in 12 week cycles and are closed groups (this means once they begin no additional participants will be added). All groups are supervised by Mr. Leo Bryant LPC. 

Substance Abuse & Addiction Groups

Target population: Adults

Number in group 7 to 10

Gender: Mixed

Number of group sessions: 12

Time for each group sessions: 60 minutes

Location: Douglasville Office

Leadership: Co-leaders

Time: Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Fee: $100.00 per month


Mr. Leo (licensed professional counselor) and his clinical staff led a group of recovering addicts and mental health clients through their journey discussing their challenges and coping strategeis being used to navigate their troubled waters. During sessions, Mr. Leo facilitates using the art of story telling and personal narritives to help keep the flow of conversation going, while blending clinical language and vocabulary, alongside common or lamen terminology.
